A German automotive company builds a new production plant in Austria. What was missing was the expertise required to set up production so that it would meet headquarters’ expectations from the beginning. P+P Interim Management made it possible.
At the start of the project, the client’s expectations were clear: use lean methods to develop the future standards at the production site and make sure that manufacturing cost requirements are clearly adhered to from the beginning. In addition, the employees should be supported by sustainable knowledge transfer so that they can take over project management on their own. Following a 12-month phase of involvement by a P+P interim manager, production was running like clockwork and met all expectations from Germany. Since then the employees have been working successfully without supervision.
